Jim Thorpe Sports

The Jim Thorpe boys basketball team first beat Mahanoy City 70-40 Friday night and then it was the championship game against Marian the following night.

The second game was a nail-biter with the Marian coach almost getting thrown out and many players fouled out by the last two minutes. But the JT boys pulled out a victory and started their 2008-2009 season TWO and OH!
